This comfortable city hotel offers high-standard, luxurious accommodation within walking distance of the Cape Town Convention Centre and the prestigious V&A Waterfront.

The hotel is situated just a short drive from Cape Town’s beautiful beaches and the spectacular scenery of Table Mountain. All of the well-appointed rooms are en suite and air conditioned, with minibar and filter coffee machines. Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the hotel and the well-equipped conference rooms have network and video conferencing facilities. The hotel also has all the amenities needed for relaxation and there is an indoor gym, a sauna and a heated swimming pool. The lounge bar and terrace restaurant with Fountains Pool overlook vibrant Adderley Street. The Fountains Hotel is a full service hotel with concierge and porters. Guests can enjoy buffet meals in the Terrace Restaurant and drinks in the Terrace Bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day (with a limited menu during the early morning hours). Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in all of the hotel’s public areas.

There is also a small, fully-equipped gym, a sauna and a heated indoor swimming pool.

The hotel is located at the bottom of the walk way of St Georges Mall, overlooking Thibault Square on the one side and the Fountains in Heerengracht on the other side. The Cape Town International Convention Centre is just down the road and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is within walking distance.

Value for price. Good hotel and service.

Wireless internet service was poor. I requested wireless internet access service prior to my checkin, but the room they gave me had poor reception and once I unpacked I did not feel like moving rooms.

We upgraded to a suite & the size was good.

Position not great. Carpets filthy in our suite. Smelly basement. No home comforts very basic.

Despite of not waterfront located it is an excelent location Easy to access with parking in the middle of the city and close to everything .Rooms are simple but wery well equiped with all necessary Very cleasn an new modern style .

We did enjoy th ehotel and w were very happy of having selected this hotel

The staff were extremelly helpfull and very friendly. They were a pleasure to deal with. From the chauffer to the room personnel.

Not having a "Not disturb sign in the room" until we requested one.

Bathroom could be cleaned better, ie remove pink mold in shower and clean toilet rim

The price was good.

Dirty carpets; wet paint; terrible interior decoration; no pen or paper to write; no coffee or black tee - only two rooibos tea bags. Definately not a 4 star hotel!!

Friendly staff

They are over prised. A rip off. The parking will do more damage to your car and not included in the rates. I would rather park in the sreet.

Location is excellent. Staff is very friendly (beyond comparison!) and efficient. Breakfast is "lekker", but the buffet dinner is very good value for money. Highly recommanded.

The only remark that could be made is about the lot of disturbances, staff that wants to take the towels out, check the mini bar, fix something which was reported by the previous guests - too many knocks on the door
